For museums
Your collection, in its own voice.
M4ART gives every work in your galleries a short, checked story that a visitor can hear by pointing a phone at it. No hardware, no wall numbers, no app of your own to build.
What a partnership looks like
You share the works and the records you already keep — titles, dates, curatorial notes, provenance where it matters. We write short stories from those records, an editor checks every fact against the source, and your team approves each story before it goes live. The app recognises the works from a visitor’s camera inside your building.
What we ask from you
- Images and basic records for the works in the pilot (open-access or licensed to you).
- One contact who can answer questions and approve stories.
- A few hours of a curator’s time per hundred works, spread over the pilot.
What you get
- Stories in the languages the app supports, with text and sources visible to the visitor.
- Visitor-level numbers: which works are heard, how long, where people stop.
- The right to say no: no story goes live without your approval, and any story can be pulled in a day.
Pilot terms, coverage and pricing are being finalised; the page will be updated when they are confirmed.
